Just Because You Can't See It, Doesn't Mean It's Not There...

Today is the June new moon, and this go round it's in Gemini. The position of the moon is in trine with Saturn in Libra. ("Trine" is a zodiacal term where two celestial points or bodies sit 120 degrees apart. It's a positive connection.)

I have always had a special connection with the moon. With the "heavens" as a whole. The moon is so beautiful and full of energy. I have always felt a kinship with it that isn't something that I can easily articulate. It's just something special.

New moons are always a time to regroup, and reassess things. A time for taking a fresh approach. This Gemini moon promotes strength in communication and intelligence. It pushes for strength in family relationships...I'm thinking that's an area where 'communications' comes in. Re-orienting oneself and taking a new approach to things. That's the way to go. There is some added stability during this time, so it's a prime time.

Fresh approaches are always welcome in my book. Things can get so stressful and complicated at times. Regrouping is not always an easy thing to do, but sometimes it such a vital part of survival. Yes, physically, but I think the mental and emotional have even more of an impact. If those elements of our individual selves aren't positive or "healthy", well the physical self isn't going to improve. Our minds have more impact on our physical health than we know.

Take advantage of this fresh, new, positive energy. That's what I'm going to do.

Today was also a partial eclipse. Nothing that we would have seen in my neck of the woods. This was the first of three:
  • June 1: New Moon in Gemini ~ partial solar eclipse
  • June 15: Full Moon in Sagattarius ~ total lunar eclipse
  • July 1: New Moon in Cancer ~ partial lunar eclipse

  1. I like that mental and emotional impact, its more important than wondering about the moon.
